Field Technician

Title: Field Service Technician Location: Allentown, PA (Offsite) Rate: $24.97/hr Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:30AM – 5:00PM; extended/odd hours may be required, based on business needs Position Summary: The Senior IS Technician will run service calls, installing computer and printer hardware in the Allentown, PA area. The worker may work alone or assist local FTS Technicians completing projects, installing computer equipment, and running services calls; A permanent FTS employee will provide direction and support on a daily basis. The worker may spend several hours driving between locations daily to perform these duties; the worker must have valid driver's license and reliable transportation to drive themselves between several locations on a daily basis. The worker will be reimbursed for miles driven on their weekly expense report at the standard reimbursement rate. Position Requirements: Must have previous printer, point of sale system, or computer hardware repair and support experience, the ability to work on your own or with others, lift 75lbs frequently, complete required paperwork, and provide excellent customer service. Additionally, you must have a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and a minimum of a High School Diploma or GED to be considered. Higher education and/or certifications, and/or prior experience working as a field technician is highly preferred. This job requires driving your personal vehicle between work sites; a MVR background check will be conducted upon being extended a job offer
