What you will need to bring for this position: Experience building and leading a large team in the development and rapid delivery of developer tooling platforms and capabilities Machine learning knowledge aimed at problems such as developer support, knowledge discovery and predictive maintenance to improve developer efficiency and operational excellence. Experience in delivery of software that has many human operational touch points Strong data skills to be able to lead through system of record conversations as well as the timing of data A history of embracing and incubating emerging technology and open source products Recruit, motivate, mentor, and lead the best application engineering talent Customer first attitude Innovative thinking with a passion for problem-solving Ability to provide a logical framework to support conclusions and ideas. Responsibilities: Lead a large technical teams Lead the definition of new capabilities, guiding the technical architecture and needs to deliver functions spanning people, process and technology Partner with Business Leaders to shape and prioritize initiatives Manage the expectations of a diverse stakeholder group as it relates to progress towards delivery Partner with vendors who provide key capabilities and ensure there are adequate roadmaps to the future and coverage for the current state Support the broader Card LOB through communities of practice, knowledge sharing and collaborative problem solving Be an evangelist and champion for developer tooling across Card Tech to bring the voice of the developer to the tooling team and drive broader adoptionCollaborate cross functionally with other areas of Card Tech and Capital One to find holistic solutions that deliver the right associate and client experience Find the best solution across the firm and leverage it. This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).
