Hiring Sushi Chefs!

This is Holden from Little Masa in Collegetown.

The restaurant is located at 619 S Woodward Ave Tallahassee, FL 32304.

Our ideal candidate would be available full time, have professional culinary experience, and basic knife safety/technique.

The schedule is flexible, initially, and would eventually become set and recurring.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare sushi dishes according to our menu and customer preferences
• Ensure all ingredients are fresh, rotated properly, and of high quality
• Maintain a clean and organized work station
• Support kitchen stations with cleaning, organization, and prep during downtime
• Adhere to health and safety standards

Requirements:

• Experience as a sushi chef, culinary school, or in professional kitchen prep
• Knowledge of sushi-making techniques and ingredients
• Excellent knife skills
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends

Perks:

• This is a tipped position! Tips are SEPARATE and ADDED ON TOP the offered wage in this ad. Our tips are pooled each day and split according to the hours worked that day. Tips are taxed and distributed on bi-weekly paychecks. Tips range between $3-$6 per hour (before taxes) depending on the time of year, day of the week, and local events. Tip out spread sheets are always available for viewing.
