Salary: $70,000 +

Job Summary

Responsible for HVAC and mechanical building systems, utilizing knowledge of refrigeration theory, control systems, pipe fitting, and structural layouts.

 

Skills and Experience

Five to seven years related experience and/or training. 

 

Essential Functions and Duties (including but not limited to)

  • Responsible for servicing products and equipment on assigned projects and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Uses a variety of hand-tools, following blueprints or engineering specifications, to diagnose and repair units.
  • Performs preventative maintenance, site surveys, replacement, and modifications as needed or requested by customers.
  • Determines parts to order for repairs and timeliness of need.
  • Uses power tools and computers.
  • Identifies, analyzes, and repairs equipment, instruments and products at the customer’s location(s).
  • Performs preventive maintenance and modifications as needed or requested by the customer.
  • Seek out and submit Work Change Authorizations based on customer need.
  • Maintains company vehicle by keeping records of service manuals, schedules with warehouse manager required maintenance and repairs.
  • Ability to get along with others.
  • Turns in all required paperwork and reports in a timely manner.
  • Keeps current on all product offerings concerning installation, operation, maintenance, service and repair
  • Provides technical support to customer.
  • Ability to use provided software applications to document customer calls, labor and work performed.

 

Education

  • Associates Degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school with a certificate in Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning; or equivalent experience.
  • EPA approved Universal Technician Certification
