Valley Animal Medical Center is a state-of-the-art 10-doctor emergency hospital that has been in the community for over 20 years and is continuing to grow and flourish. Our 10,000 square foot facility boasts a team of approximately 65 support staff and doctors, all dedicated to our mission “Where Your Pets’ Health is our Top Priority and Excellent Service is our Goal.” We have a collaborative, team approach to medicine and are proud to be the premier provider of veterinary emergency services in the Coachella Valley. Our facility includes a CT Scanner, continuous EKG monitoring, Doppler BP, ultrasound, in-house laboratory equipment including CBC, chemistry, coagulation testing, endoscopy (gastroenteritides, colonoscopy, bronchoscopy, rhinos copy, and autoscopy), laparoscopy, tonometry, digital radiography; electrocautery, a full complement of soft tissue and orthopaedic surgical equipment and much more! As the only small animal emergency clinic within 100 miles, we have a unique caseload and opportunity to serve our community.

Requirements
In order to meet our growing community’s needs, we are looking for primary receiving emergency doctors as well as hospitality, with all shifts available. Choose your path! This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow, be supported, and work within a large emergency hospital. The schedule is a combination of day or night and swing shifts, with rotating holiday and weekend schedules.
  • Doctor of Veterinary degree, or equivalent, from an accredited university
  • Active Veterinary State License

Compensation is negotiable based on education, experience, and other relevant credentials. The annual salary range for this position is $64,000 to $240,000.
