Construction Crew Leader

Join our amazing team of professionals at a destination company as a Crew Leader on our landscape construction team.

Prior experience in landscaping is required. Applicants will be expected to be reliable, on time, and work hard. On-site training is provided.

Job title: Crew Leader 

Department: Construction

Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred 

Experience: 4-5 years of experience 

Tasks and Responsibilities:

Assist Project Superintendents and project managers in completing duties including, but not limited to...

• Irrigation installation
• Planting trees and shrubs
• Topsoil and grading, sod, mulch, paver, and water feature installation
• Dig trenches and backfill holes to prepare for construction projects
• Loading and unloading building materials
• Cleaning and removing hazard materials and debris from worksites 
• Interact with clients and assure client satisfaction
• Use of heavy equipment (i.e. bobcats, excavators, skid-steer loader, etc.)

All in our custom residential landscapes.

Qualifications

• We ask that you are motivated, willing to learn, hardworking, and reliable.
  
• Driver’s license (Required)
• Ability to work overtime and weekends if needed

• Able to work in a team with little to no supervision
• Can handle projects at multiple properties
• Ability to effectively communicate with other employees both in person, written and via electronic channels
• Ability to interact professionally with all customers, team members, and those from external organizations.

Physical requirements: 

• Able to lift 50 Lbs. or more throughout the day
• Able to use hand tools such as but not limited to shovels, rakes, and wheelbarrows throughout the day. 
• Physical strength to perform heavy labor such as lifting and moving material. 
• Physical strength to handle long hours of strenuous work during the day in hot or cold weather. 
• Ability to climb a ladder, kneel, and crawl
• Ability to move and ascend/descend areas within the property
• Needs adequate visual acuity, and ability to grasp and handle objects.
