Overview
The Housekeeper position at Hallbrook Country Club is responsible for making sure the Club is clean and kept to Club quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Ensures adherence to company quality standards by inspecting rooms, including deep cleans
- Follows work assignments
- Report member complaints regarding housekeeping service or equipment to the Housekeeping Manager
- Ensures that all laundry is done throughout facility
- Reports any maintenance repairs, lights out, etc. to maintenance staff
- Takes control of lost and found items as appropriate
- Maintains clean, organized, and visually appealing areas in and around Club facilities
- All other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Availability to work an AM shift or PM shift five days a week including weekends
- Previous housekeeping experience preferred
- Previous hotel or private club experience preferred
- Ability to provide exceptional service
- Professional and can-do attitude
- Strong communication skills
- Able to read and interpret written information
- Able to adapt well to changes in processes and environment
- Able to arrive on time to scheduled shifts
- Ability to stand, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; use arms, hands, and fingers to reach, feel, and pick-up
- Ability to walk, climb or balance
- Must regularly be able to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Able to work in environment that is exposed to mechanical parts, fumes, or airborne particles
- Able to work in environment that is occasionally exposed to wet or humid conditions; extreme cold and/or heat; and work in high, precarious places
