Server/Waitstaff at Lion Bridge Brewing Co.

Lion Bridge is a neighborhood brewery in the historic Czech Village. We are looking for a flexible, reliable server who is also a great salesperson and has a passion for craft beer.

Requirements:

- Must be at least 21

- Must enjoy (or at least be knowledgeable in) beer, especially craft beer

- Must have full availability on Saturdays from 10:30 AM to 10 PM and Sundays from 10:30 AM to 8 PM. Friday availability is a plus. If you need a lot of weekends off, this is not the position for you.

- Is OK with tip pooling by day and weekly tip direct deposits - we do not do tip outs, and all tips are reported. Salaried managers, BOH, and the owners do not get any tips.

- No violent convictions or felonies of any kind. Those with recent (within 5 years) DUIs or other alcohol mishandling convictions are not encouraged to apply.

Qualifications:

- The ideal candidate has worked in a craft beer setting before

- Must be reliable, punctual, and a self-starter

- Ideally has serving experience, but we are willing to train the right candidate

- Ability to work well in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment

- Is a team player and always pulls their own weight

- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively

- Basic math skills for handling payments and making change

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with customers and team members

- Sales-oriented mindset to promote menu items and increase revenue

Duties:

- Greet and seat customers in a friendly and professional manner

- Take food and drink orders accurately and promptly

- Deliver orders to tables in a timely manner

- Ensure customer satisfaction by providing excellent service throughout their dining experience

- Bus tables and maintain cleanliness in the dining area

- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure accurate order preparation and timely delivery

- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints

- Upsell menu items and promote specials to increase sales - we are looking for a salesperson, not someone to throw menus in front of a customer and simply ask, "What do you want?"

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 25 per week
