An optometry office in downtown Fremont is looking for a part-time candidate. Our ideal candidate is self-driven, motivated, and hard-working. This is a great career opportunity for someone to learn a new set of skills and grow within the company. Full-time position is a possibility in the future with full benefits, part-time position has partial benefits.

***You must be able to work 1-2 late evenings (until 7:30pm) and 2-3 Saturdays a month (until 2:30pm).

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and make them feel welcome
• Answer the phones/schedule appointments
• Pull vision and medical insurances
• Pretest patients before their eye exams (will train)
• General office duties
• Some light janitorial duties

Qualifications

• Friendly attitude when dealing with patients and team members
• Responsible and proven ability to maintain scheduling commitments
• Ability to problem solve quickly concerns patients may have
• Encompass excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Be able to work in a fast-paced environment
