Pool Technician Helper

Pay: $19-$20/hr

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00 am-4:00 pm (Please note, during busy seasons, you will be required to work overtime until 7:00 pm if necessary. MUST be OK with working overtime)

This is an entry-level position with the opportunity to grow. MUST have a valid Driver's License and good driving record.

Job Overview:
We are seeking a Pool Technician Assistant to join our team. As a Pool Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and servicing pools to ensure they are clean, safe, and in proper working condition. If you have mechanical knowledge, experience with power and hand tools, and a passion for pool maintenance, we would love to hear from you.

Duties:

• Clean and maintain pools by vacuuming, skimming, and brushing
• Test water chemistry and adjust chemical levels as needed
• Inspect pool equipment and perform repairs or replacements as necessary
• Troubleshoot and resolve pool equipment malfunctions
• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as filter cleaning and backwashing
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries and concerns

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Pool Technician or in a similar role is preferred but not required.
• Strong knowledge of pool cleaning techniques and equipment repair
• Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools for pool maintenance
• Mechanical aptitude to diagnose and fix pool equipment issues
• Excellent problem-solving skills to troubleshoot pool-related problems
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong attention to detail to ensure pools are properly maintained
• Good communication skills to interact with customers in a professional manner
