Job Title: Temporary Operations Analyst
Position Details:
Role Type: 5 Months Contract
Location: Hybrid Deerfield, IL
Pay $24.00-$28.00/W2
Job Overview:
As a Temporary Operations Analyst, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Project Manager by aligning with each pillar within Fulfillment, including Customer Service, Transportation, Warehousing, Network Planning, and Deployment. Your responsibilities will span various activities, such as workflow analysis, process flow documentation, SOP and training material creation, analytics, operational readiness, and cutover execution.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Analysis:
- Gather, understand, and document business objectives, specifications, and requirements for small to medium-sized projects.
Testing and Validation:
- Develop and execute unit/system test cases, scripts, and plans.
- Ensure adherence to appropriate SDLC and quality validation processes.
Process Design:
- Define, design, and document business flows and processes for small and medium-sized projects.
Problem Solving:
- Identify, analyze, propose, and document solutions for problems and issues affecting the project.
- Understand and address issues that may impact day-to-day operations.
Communication:
- Communicate project status, solutions, and concerns in a timely manner within the team and across functions.
- Disseminate information effectively.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Provide cross-functional and business knowledge to develop alternative business system and process solutions.
Training and Documentation:
- Train others as needed on specific areas of business or systems expertise.
- Assist in the development of training materials.
Ownership and Detail Orientation:
- Own key tasks, demonstrating solid business knowledge.
- Work with moderate direction and provide minimal guidance to others.
- Handle moderately complex problems with a sense of urgency and strong follow-up skills.
Other Duties:
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree preferred or relevant work experience in systems or business.
- 2+ years of experience applying information systems solutions to business problems.
- Strong communication skills (verbal/written/listening).
- Solid business knowledge.
- Detail-oriented and able to work effectively in a team setting.
- Experience in system testing, validation, problem resolution, and training.
