Description

As a Sales Leader specializing in Environmental Laboratory Testing and Analysis Services, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth by working with Strategic Account Managers and territory Business Development Managers in promoting and selling our environmental laboratory testing and analysis services to potential clients. You will play a pivotal role in developing and executing sales strategies, building and nurturing client relationships, and ensuring the achievement of sales targets and objectives. While our corporate office is in Decatur, AL, this position can be fully remote/work from home.

* Develop and implement strategic sales plan to achieve company objectives and revenue targets.

* Work with the marketing team to develop client and prospective client outreach campaigns.

* Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for growth.

* Help build strong customer relationships with key decision-makers and influencers.

* Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing expert guidance on environmental laboratory testing and analysis services.

* Understand customer needs and tailor solutions to meet their specific requirements.

* Utilize Salesforce CRM system and other tools to track sales activities, monitor performance, and generate reports.

* Educate sales team members on product/service offerings and ensure they are equipped to effectively communicate value propositions to clients.

* Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, operations, and technical teams to align sales strategies with overall business objectives.

* Communicate regularly with executive management and sales operations, providing updates on sales performance, market insights, and strategic initiatives.

Skills and requirements:

* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Marketing, Life Sciences, or related field with 7+ years of sales experience in a related field.

* Proven track record of success in sales leadership roles within the environmental laboratory testing, scientific services, or related industry required.

* Strong leadership and collaboration skills with the ability to work across multiple locations and business units.

* Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

* Deep understanding of sales processes and methodologies.

* Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.

* Proficiency in CRM software (Salesforce) and Microsoft Office suite

* A strategic mindset with a focus on driving results and exceeding targets.

* Ability to travel regularly, up to 50-75% of the time

* This position offers competitive compensation, including base salary, performance-based incentives, and benefits.

* The role will require occasional travel to meet with clients and attend industry events.
