The Associate RCAM position is responsible for ownership of all Network Engineering, ISP, and Outside Plant Construction Contracts in support of Network Implementation and the Operations teams. The Associate RCAM ensures all parties are upholding their obligations as defined within the Master Services Agreement and Statement of Work. They work to limit liability risks to the business by understanding, interpreting, and communicating contractual responsibilities to either party. The Associate RCAM has an understanding of Telcordia Blue Book Standards. The Associate RCAM is an entry level position within the North America Network Implementation organization.
Knowledge of contractual language; research and document interpretation of same for Vendors and Lumen Field personnel.
Assist LNI & Operations with analysis of cost associated with unit usage and cycle times and make recommendations to help improve business efficiencies when and where applicable
Function as second level Vendor Management to Lumen personnel and Suppliers. Building relationships and serve as facilitator and escalation point for performance issues, disputes, and relevant inquiries.
Develop expertise in systems and reporting to drive decisions and actions based on data.
Responsible for developing, implementing & conducting all Scorecard activities as it relates to contractor performance and coordination with Suppliers, Operations, Engineering
Tracking of projects, tracks project issues/risks, & document progress and prepare status reports (metrics, summaries, etc.).
Min Qualifications:
- Associate degree in related field or equivalent experience or education.
- 2-3 years of relevant experience in telecommunications, engineering, construction, network planning or vendor management.
- Knowledgeable and able to work in appropriate systems and Microsoft Office.
- Basic knowledge of MS Office Suite applications
- Demonstrated ability to lead calls regarding developed training material or other critical deliverables
- Basic understanding of contract or legal documentation such as warranties, agreements, etc.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in Outside and Inside plant engineering and construction
- Experience in negotiation and mediation skills

$48,700 - $65,000 in these states: AL AZ FL GA IA IN KS MO MT ND NM OH OK PA TN UT VT WI WV WY
$51,188 - $68,250 in these states: CO HI MI MN NC NH NV OR RI
$53,625 - $71,500 in these states: AK CA CT DC DE IL MA MD NJ NY TX VA WA
