Job Summary:

The Tax Manager is expected to manage the preparation and presentation of information necessary for the accurate and timely completion of corporate tax requirements and processes. This position is expected to work on and manage matters that would include tax compliance, tax accounting, and adhoc projects. Property and Casualty insurance experience in compliance and reporting is required.

Key Responsibilities:

* Communicate with and apprise tax management and company management on issues and status of projects, including presenting recommended solutions to issues
* Review of 1120 PC and 1120 C Corp returns including return to provision and deferred tax validation
* Review of GAAP and SSAP 101 tax provisions including account reconciliations
* Support federal audits and R&D studies
* Support tax needs of various business units
* Support enterprise initiatives

Supervisory Responsibilities:
This job does not have supervisory duties.
Education and Experience:

* Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience preferred
* 7 or more years of related experience preferred

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

* No Certification, License or Registration is required for the job.

Functional Skills:

* Advanced knowledge of insurance tax concepts needed to execute job responsibilities
* SAP experience a plus
* Ability to independently perform complex tax or accounting analysis or research of issues that impact area of responsibility

Compensation offered for this role is$105,500.00-$154,000.00 per yearand is based on experience and qualifications.
