Strategy Manager

Immediate long term contract opportunity for Strategy Manager with direct client in Westchester County, NY. Our client - a major utility firm based out of Westchester County, NY - has an immediate need for a Strategy Manager. The particulars of the position are as follows. Description: You will help support corporate strategic efforts, as the firm is undergoing minor changes to their strategic direction. This includes story telling (communicating new strategic directives) as well as assisting in promoting workshops designed to deliver strategic changes or “refresh”. This is a hands-on role; you will be involved in: • Work on projects or major project workstreams related to corporate strategy and corporate initiatives • Facilitate corporate workshops and related materials, communicating goals and agendas, prepare data and materials, invite key stakeholders and set expectations, outline takeaways and memorialize meeting minutes • Collaborate with Change Management and communication across various teams • Develop, enhance and/or revise PowerPoint slide decks • Advising on when to use (or not to use) certain data points Required skills: • Ability to assist in supporting complex cross-enterprise projects and processes with multiple stakeholders at various levels • Superior analytical and problem-solving skills, with demonstrated intellectual and analytical rigor, attention to detail and ability to structure and analyze modeling • Experience in and/or exposure to the utility industry, specifically power generation • Ability to conduct data analysis to support conclusions, make recommendations, and a willingness to gain proficiency in data analysis tools (such as PowerBI or Tableau) • Excellent interpersonal, presentation, communication, and documentation skills • A background working for a “Big-4” firm, with an understanding of advisory / corporate strategy / management consulting services and processes Education: • Bachelor’s degree; a Master’s degree would be ideal • An understanding of Agile based methodologies.
