The Opportunity 

Delaware North Parks and Resorts is hiring for a seasonal Painter to join our team at Yellowstone General Stores in West Yellowstone, Montana for our 2024 Summer Season! If your talents range from skilfully carrying out routine maintenance tasks, including painting interior and exterior areas, and assisting the grounds-keeping team with the upkeep of property, this could be the next step for you. You will play an important role in guest satisfaction and experience during their stay at Yellowstone General Stores.

Responsibilities 

• Paint, hang, and repair drywall as needed and install shelves, hooks, and closet rods
• Change light bulbs, replace fixtures, open clogged drains, and repair leaks
• Ensure tools and equipment are in working order and keep the maintenance room in neat condition
• Assist with loading or unloading trucks of maintenance parts and supplies
• Must be able to operate a vehicle 
• Other maintenance duties, as necessary

Qualifications 

• Minimum of 2 years of previous experience in residential or commercial painting, maintenance and repair required
• Previous experience with commercial interior and exterior painting
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Wiling to work with others when needed and be team oriented 

Physical Requirements 

• Frequent pushing, pulling, squatting, and kneeling
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Standing and walking 100% of the time
• Must be able to work outside in all types of weather
