Part-Time Pet Sitters Needed in Newport and Portsmouth!!!

Fetch! Pet Care Providence – Bay Area is in immediate need of professional Pet Sitters to service Downtown Providence, Barrington, Portsmouth, and Newport. We are a locally-owned franchise with the backing of America's largest and most trusted professional dog-walking and pet-sitting franchise, Fetch! Pet Care.

We seek friendly, reliable, and honest individuals to walk dogs and care for dogs and cats in their owners' homes while their owners are away. We also provide our clients Almost Overnight and Overnight Care, Puppy Care, and Pet Transportation.

What we offer:

• $12.25-$20/ hourly rate

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• With genuine love and knowledge about caring for pets
• Must be comfortable walking and caring for all sizes and breeds of dogs/animals in all types of weather
• Located in or near our service areas. (Newport, Portsmouth, and Middletown, Barrington, Providence)
• Must own a smartphone with internet, texting, and email capabilities
• With reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
• Ability to pass a criminal background check
• Ability to attend outside promotional events

Physical Job Requirements :

• Ability to be on your feet several times a day while dog walking
• Ability to visually observe people and animals from up to 150 feet away
• Capable of effectively controlling the leash of all-sized dogs
• Ability to assess situations accurately and calmly and be able to respond quickly

Skills & Experience

• Vet Tech, Shelter, or Volunteer experience preferred.
• Ability to complete the Fetch! Pet Care training program
• Ability to follow safety protocols according to brand standards and training
• Must put the welfare of the animals at the forefront of all you do
• Willing to work Weekends and Holidays as this is when most of our services are requested
• Willing to be a backup sitter as needed
• Willing to travel (required)
• Must live within the area we serviced. (Barrington, Portsmouth, Providence, Newport,)
• Customer service experience is preferred
