Machinist - Research Engineering Tech I

The University of Missouri Physics Dept. is seeking a creative machinist eager to learn new skills for a full-time position in their Machine Shop.

 

The Physics Shop does a wide variety of design & fabrication work for the University and various research facilities. The shop is modern and well equipped having a full range of manual lathes, mills, etc. as well as a CNC lathe and milling Machine.

 

A successful applicant should have an associates degree or a minimum of 2-3 years machine shop experience with emphasis on manual machines and TIG welding skills, as well as training in Mastercam. A strong mechanical background is a plus.
