Job Description
We are seeking a Mail Clerk to join a fantastic team in Saint Petersburg!
Responsibilities:
• Sort and collate incoming and outgoing mail.
• Weigh mail to determine the correct postage.
• Open mail addressed to the office and discard junk mail.
• Record register mail.
• Use fax and scanning machines.
• Ability to operate a PC, copier, fax, telephone, and other general office equipment. Must have thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office software including Word and Excel.
• Ability to operate all specialized mail room equipment and proprietary software programs including postage machine, folder/inserter, envelope addressed, Documatch, and Arrival/Ascent system.
• Ability to communicate effectively in verbal and written formats and interact positively and professionally will all levels of personnel.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, work in a fast-paced environment, make independent decisions to meet critical deadlines and ensure security of confidential information and materials.
• Collect, distribute and/or process interoffice items, outgoing mail, and outgoing courier packages from all departments.
• Process jobs requiring folding/inserting and or envelope printing. Verify all address information via CASS software program..
Experience
-Three (3) years of mailroom operations experience or general office administration experience preferred.
-Intermediate knowledge of Windows-based PC.
-Must have good math aptitude.
-Must be flexible and have ability to work in a team environment.
