Your duties
You will be the Warehouse Material Handler in our Lubbock location.
You will:
· Proactively assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets or shelves, or relocate orders to a holding area or shipping department.
· Unload trucks checking in merchandise, matching purchase orders to sales orders and distributing to sales associates for processing.
· Read customer orders, work orders, shipping orders or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered or distributed and/or shipped.
· Record amounts of materials or items received or distributed via RFMS.
· Sweep, dust, mop, and organize warehouse and work area for orderliness at all times.
· Ensure warehouse is accessible and safe for salespeople and customer traffic.
· Proactively ensure that time is spent being productive.
· Use a forklift daily in a safe manner according to OSHA standards. (Certification training provided)
You will be proficient in math and competent in inventory management. Previous experience required. You must be reliable and possess both physical strength and computer skills. Heavy lifting is required. Must be willing to take ownership and be trustworthy.
