Facility Engineer (Auto Manufacturing)

Required Skills:

·         Bachelor’s degree in Facility Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (Professional Engineer (PE) license and advance degree is a plus).

·         Proven experience as a Facility Engineer or in a similar role, with a track record of successfully supporting automotive vehicle launches.

·         Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing continues improvement, facility management principles and best practices, especially in an automotive manufacturing context.

·         Experience in project management, including planning, budgeting, and execution, with a focus on automotive manufacturing facility projects.

·         Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.

·         Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

·         Ability to troubleshoot and address facility-related issues promptly, specifically those impacting automotive manufacturing processes.

·         Familiarity with building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards relevant to automotive manufacturing facilities.

·         Proficiency in using computer-aided design (CAD) software.

·         Knowledge of energy conservation practices and sustainability initiatives in the context of automotive manufacturing.

·         Experience with facilities in automotive manufacturing or similar industrial settings.

·         Certification in Facility Management (CFM) is a plus.
