Senior Accountant

Responsibilities:

• Daily accounting for real estate entities
• Preparation of monthly reconciliations, reports and journal entries
• Account for and monitor cash receipts at each real estate entity
• Review and importation of accounting data from real estate subsidiaries
• Monitor intercompany activity and perform monthly close process
• Assist with the real estate budgeting and monthly reporting process
• Assist/Backup monthly customer billing process 
• Dependent on progression:
  • Path to promotion throughout the company
  • Responsible for accounting at the Company’s real estate subsidiaries

Requirements:

• Peoplesoft, Oracle, and/or Jonas systems experience is preferred but not required.
• Experience working with real estate entities, a plus not required.
• Ability to follow policy and procedures. 
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
• 3-5 years of experience in an accounting firm or in a financial role at a reputable business.
• College degree with a major in accounting or finance.
• Pay $55,000- $65,000/year
• Monday - Friday 8 am to 5 pm
