Dishwasher at Pie Pushers

Do you have experience as a dishwasher OR are you interested in learning? Do you want to work for a locally-owned pizza restaurant in downtown Durham?

Pie Pushers is looking for a dishwasher to join our team. We are located right downtown on Main St. This position can be part-time or full-time depending on talent and availability. Our ideal candidate is attentive, punctual, and engaged. 

Covid Safety & Policies

We have practices and policies in place to keep both the staff and the customers safe as we navigate thru the Covid-effected times. We wear masks, keep a safe distance when possible, enjoy breaks outside, as well as constant sanitization of high-use areas and protocols suggested by the CDC and local health department. Happy to go thru all details with any applicant as well.

 Responsibilities

• Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots or pans using dishwashers or by hand
• Maintain a clean and tidy work area
• Follow health and safety guidelines
• Sort and stack clean dishes; Carry clean dishes to proper storage areas
• Assist with prep work
• Assist with set up and stocking stations before and during shifts

Qualifications

·      Dishwashing experience or back of house experience ideal, but not required

·      Able to meet all scheduling commitments

·      High integrity with a great attendance record

·      Team player attitude - we all help each other out!!

·      Excels in a fast-paced environment

·      Ability to listen and communicate effectively

·      Strong attention to detail
