Estate Planning professionals as one of the regional directors covering the NW Division of Washington, Northern Idaho and Western Montana. This is primarily a home-based position located in the NW Division and travel is required.

The director position includes cultivating, stewarding, and soliciting planned gift donors, prospects, and professional advisors; engaging them in philanthropic conversations that effectively consider their charitable goals, family needs, assets, tax considerations, and optimal gift instruments; and encouraging and assisting them with making major gifts of assets. The Director will use their specialized gift planning knowledge to evaluate and manage donor’s expectations, goals, and financial situations in order to recommend optimal gift options. The director will also collaborate with the entire NW development team, our larger Western regional gift planning team and gift services department that oversees all realized estate gifts.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Minimum five (5) plus years of proven success in charitable gift planning or in related fields of technical sales, charitable estate planning, financial planning, or real estate
  • Proven track record of closing major gifts of assets: property, business, endowments, charitable trusts and
  • A preference for candidates with an advanced degree or certification such as: Certified Financial Planner (“CFP”), CAP, MBA, JD, CPA or CSPG
