Highland Park Car Wash Maintenance and Facilities Leader

Job Summary:

The Maintenance and Facilities Leader will embody our culture by leading with warmth and kindness in interactions with colleagues, and contributing to creating the positive, up-beat environment our Team Members and customers can feel. As a Maintenance and Facilities team member, you will help deliver the carwash experience our customers have grown to expect and enjoy, and you will help us create the best possible workplace for our on-site team.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive maintenance on carwash equipment including greasing bearings and checking for leaks
• Make repairs to carwash equipment as needed
• Take pride in ensuring our carwash facilities are safe, clean, tidy and functioning properly at all times
• Maintain grounds and curb appeal, including pressure washing walkways and gutters and picking up trash
• Clean and organize mechanical rooms
• Clean interior of carwash tunnels and carwash machinery 
• Clean restrooms, offices and break rooms
• Maintain organized work areas
• Assist with training carwash Team Members in how to safely operate carwash equipment, perform basic preventive maintenance and clean the facility

Required Experience, Education, & Skills: 

• Meticulous attention to detail and pride in a job well done
• Mechanical aptitude
• Ability to operate and maintain equipment
• Ability to read and understand reports and instructions
• Ability to adapt to quickly to changing situations and environments
• Valid driver’s license
• Experience working in the carwash industry and understanding of carwash fundamentals preferred
• Experience maintaining carwash equipment and an understanding of how a carwash tunnel works preferred
• Hydraulic and pneumatic systems knowledge preferred
