PORTER

Up to $19 - $23/hr with tips*
*Depending on experience

Base wage before tips: $16 - 18 (+ $2-4/hour tips from a pool tips system)

Interested in a 4-day workweek schedule while still getting full-time hours?

This schedule is offered as an OPTIONAL BENEFIT for those interested & will include four swing shifts that will begin between 10 am - Noon each day and last for 9 hours and 45 minutes with a lunch break

ABOUT THE ROLE: As our Porter/Dishwasher, you play a key role in our restaurant operations by ensuring dishes are cleaned, the dish area is organized and sanitation procedures are being followed correctly by all. This role is incredibly important to the success of the restaurant team and will have the opportunity to learn other tasks in our kitchen operation.

YOU WILL:

  • Wash dishes, pots, etc using dishwashers or by hand.
  • Maintain cleanliness in dishwashing and prep kitchen workstations.
  • Stock cleaning supplies and dishes in their respective areas.
  • Sort and remove trash, placing it in designated pick-up areas.
  • Support team members and managers with daily cleaning and food prep tasks.
  • Help to maintain the "A" letter grade by following Department of Health and DIG food safety standards.

YOU HAVE:

  • A desire to learn culinary practices and skills.
  • The ability to demonstrate and execute a strong work ethic.
  • A team-work focus.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • An eye for detail and solving challenges.
  • The ability to perform physical requirements of the position (such as frequently lifting up to 25 pounds and occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds) These physical requirements may be accomplished with or without reasonable accommodations.
