At this time, we are looking for multiple Parking Lot Attendants for various locations in the Newport, RI area. In this time of rapid company growth, now is the right time to become a team member at UPP Global!

Position Highlights:

• Hiring for Full and Part-Time schedules! All shifts are either during the day or evening hours.
• Earn $15/hr. (plus incentives!)
• Offers will be determined based on one's abilities, experience, attitude and skills/potential.

We are hiring Valet Parking Attendants to be the front-line to our customers while parking their cars in a professional and responsible way. In addition, we are looking for reliable, professional workers to operate our commercial properties under management.

At UPP, Valets and Parking Attendants play a vital role in the success of the company. They are the first person to greet and welcome our clients and customers, and the last person they’ll interact with upon departure. A pleasant, friendly, and professional demeanor are of the utmost importance! Responsibilities:

• Maintain a pleasant, friendly, and professional demeanor with all guests, parkers, co-workers, and clients.
• Greet and welcome all guests, opening their door, helping them in and out of the vehicle and assisting with their luggage when arriving and departing.
• Provide exceptional hospitality services to all guests in an attentive, friendly, and efficient manner.
• Be responsible for parking and retrieving guests' vehicles in a prompt yet safe manner.
• Assist guests with bell service, directions, taxis, reservations, information about meeting rooms and/or amenities of the facility and other inquiries as needed.
• Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures to guests upon arrival.
• Effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to guests, parkers, co-workers, and clients
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Must be comfortable sitting, standing, walking, running, driving and being active for most of the shift
• Must provide excellent customer service, always going above the call of duty
• Must have good hand-eye coordination, as driving is required for a duration of the shift
• Ability to lift, push, and pull at least 50 pounds
• Must have a good work ethic and be a team player
• Must maintained and groomed, professional appearance
• Must possess a current drivers’ license with at least one year of experience
• Must undergo a criminal background check and motor vehicle report (MVR) check
