We are a well-established job shop in Hartford County, CT, and we are looking to hire an experienced Quality Manager.

The Position:

The Quality Manager is responsible for the overall operations of quality engineering and inspection. Responsibilities include:


  • Managing the inspection function for all incoming, in-process, and outgoing product.
  • Working with Operations, Production, and Customer Managers to assure product quality and timely delivery.
  • As required, reviewing quality requirements to assure proper inspection equipment, procedures, and documentation.
  • Working directly with subcontract vendors to resolve their quality issues and assure incoming product quality.
  • Fulfilling ISO/AS Quality System requirement as required.
  • Managing the QPM certifications, including internal audits and record-keeping.



About You:

  • You have 10+ years of experience within a manufacturing/job shop environment with similar responsibilities
  • You have outstanding leadership and team management skills and can train, coach, and motivate employees
  • You have strong math skills, the ability to read blueprints, and a working knowledge of GD&T
  • You have strong verbal and written communication and excellent interpersonal skills
