About this job
We are now hiring for an Industrial Steel Painter for a great company located right here in Abilene, TX! This position is from 6:00am - 6:00pm Monday to Friday with Overtime available!
Responsibilities:
- Cleaning surfaces prior to layering paint.
- Maintaining technical equipment for the job and ensuring that they are in working order.
- Ensuring that high safety standards are met
- Utilizing different painting techniques based on the nature of the surface
- Utilizing special safety equipment such as painting goggles and masks
- Removing previous paint surfaces using masking or a chemical rinse
- Polishing metallic surfaces
