Summary: The Warehouse Laborer's main focus is assisting production with all aspects of the Bagging/Screening/Coloring, including but not limited to: including operating forklift to load and unload semi-trailers and moving finished goods around facility, skid steer operation loading hoppers or unloading trucks, manual ability to lift 55 lb bags for palletizing, and general housekeeping. The Warehouse Laborer is responsible for the overall safety of their assigned work area. The Warehouse Laborer reports to Production Manager or Operations Manager.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Follow guidelines/instructions set by the Warehouse
- Maintain adequate job performance to satisfy production standards
- Ongoing general housekeeping of facility/property
- Identify and distinguish different rubber sizes & colors
- Uphold quality standard of all products, including packaging and presentation
- Physical Lifting of 55 pounds throughout shift
- Must be fast and accurate!
- Physical activity throughout length of shift (I.E.: Sitting, standing, walking, bending, twisting, lifting, ect.)
- Operate a forklift safely and accurately
- Operate a skid steer safely and accurately
- Follow and adhere to established safety rules
- Provide clear and consistent communication managers (when applicable)
- Responsible for loading & unloading material from semi with skid steer
- Work together as a team for efficient and precise processing, loading and off-loading
- Perform proper sealing, stacking, and wrapping
- Proper labeling of all products
- Look for ways to minimize waste
- Ability to work flexible hours with varying schedule week to week
- May be asked to perform other functions on an as needed basis
