Old Republic Risk Management (ORRM)is currently seeking a Premium Auditorto join its Underwriting SupportTeam at its company headquarters inBrookfield, WI.In general, the Premium Auditor conducts Commercial Lines of premium audits

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Initiate the Commercial Lines audit process gatheringinformation from insureds and agents. Serve as the point of contact and provide support for policyholders throughout the audit process.
• Review and consolidate policyholder's payroll, financial records, tax reporting and other ad-hoc reports to determine final Workers Compensation auditable exposures. Confirm policyholder operations to ensure correct classifications. Summarize reportable Auto and General Liability information.
• Assess and appropriately employ changes to Worker's Compensation regulatory manual rules, regulations, and state exceptions. Develop audits that comply with regulatory requirementsby using pertinent information from current bulletins and manuals.
• Communicate audit findings with insureds to confirm final exposures and any changes being made.
• Report changes found in audits(e.g. insured operations, classifications, payroll shifts, etc.) internally to underwriting staff for consideration on current policies and policy renewals.
• Respond to audit questions and disputes by working with insureds, agents, regulatory bureaus, and all levels of company personnel.
• Maintain current status logs to ensure timely workflow.
• Assist Audit & Rating Manager with audit revisions, test audit reviews, bureau initiated projects, and file maintenance.
• Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:
This position requires a High School diploma, or equivalent, and a minimum of three years of Workers Compensation premium audit experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Working as a Premium Auditor requires one to work independently and effectively within a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with Microsoft (MS) Windows and Office products is necessary.Other skills necessary include excellent oral and written communication skills, strong organizational and accurate proofreading skills, the ability to maintain accurate records, the ability to exercise discretion with confidential information, strong attention to detail, and the ability to use a variety of office equipment.


PHYSICAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS:
This position requires one to sit for extended periods of time and stand and/or walk occasionally. The position requires one to occasionally push, pull, carry, and/or lift up to 10 pounds. No personal protective equipment is required. Ergonomic equipment is available to employees.
