Responsibilities:

• Follow and learn from experienced operators how to operate and maintain The Dalles (city of The Dalles) wastewater treatment facility. Willingness to study and take the Oregon wastewater certification exam for treatment. Assume other duties as directed.
• Be able to identify permit and process sample points
• Be able to perform minor laboratory analysis
• Must obtain Oregon Wastewater Certification
• Know the rules and regulations of sampling methods
• Create and maintain accurate documentation of results

Qualifications:

• Valid driver's license, willing to work in the wastewater field, learn operations, and have a good attitude.
