Restaurant Host / Hostess

The main functions of the Host/Hostess are to facilitate the prompt and accurate seating and service of all guests, accept payment for food and beverages, make proper change and helps servers in assuring quality customer service. The host/hostess must meet and greet guests in a warm friendly manner, making them feel comfortable and welcome in our establishment. Must be organized and have the ability to prioritize and keep control and smile when pressure arises. Must have the ability to perform several activities at once and keep busy at all times.

Starting rate for Host / Hostess is $15.00 per hour and a Jekyll Island Parking Pass will be provided.

Qualifications, Education & Experience Standards:

• Previous experience in a restaurant setting preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Knowledge of Food and Beverage procedures and serving standards.
• Knowledge of Health Department rules and regulations.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Ability to read, write, speak, understand, and communicate in basic English.
• Full-time flexible availability.
