Residential Maintenance Technician

Job Description: RVM is looking for a Residential Maintenance Technician to help us service our properties in all areas related to but not limited to basic plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems as well as any other necessary repairs as reported by occupants. The ideal candidate will be able to work autonomously and responsibly while observing all safety guidelines. Qualifications: ● Skilled in one or preferably all of the following plumbing, electric, and HVAC ● Basic plumbing knowledge to assess leaks, clogs, or other drainage problems ● Basic electrical knowledge to manage problems with unit’s electrical system ● Carpentry ability to handle basic home repairs including door, cabinet and window repairs ● Painting spackle/drywall repair ● Groundskeeping if the facility contains lawns or outdoor areas in need of maintenance ● Attention to detail to ensure that all tasks are completed in an exemplary manner ● Ability to work autonomously and meet deadlines with little field supervision. ● Must feel comfortable going into resident homes and developing a rapport with our tenants. ● Problem solving and organizational skills are a must. ● Candidate needs to have transportation to and from job sites ● Must have a valid Drivers License ● Minimum 5 years experience required
