Float Caregiver 1st Shift

Float Caregiver Serves Clients where open shifts, new start gaps, or substituting where needed within the areas we serve. You will receive a guaranteed minimum of 20 hours scheduled each week on Fridays for Monday through Friday, from $17 hourly.  Must be available for 1st shift and take up to 40 hours as needed.

Job Description Essential Functions

Essential Functions

Adhere to Agency policies and procedures.

Documentation of services provided, using the Client Digital Care Record.

Personal hygiene (assisting to bathroom or in using bedpan, bathing, care of mouth, skin and hair)

Eating, Dressing, Shaving, Meal Preparation, Measuring and preparing special diets

Performs light housekeeping tasks that will facilitate the client’s self-care at home.

Vacuuming, Dusting, Sweeping, or mopping floors, doing dishes, laundry, cleaning bathrooms

REQUIREMENTS

1.            Must have open availability for shift during specified contracted                 times 7a-3p or 3p-11p

2.            Must have a reliable vehicle and a valid driver’s license

3.            Must be okay to work around cats and dogs with NO restrictions

4.            Must travel within Right at Home’s service area

5.            Must have at least 5 years of caregiving experience

               with two of those years in a nursing home or hospital setting

•  Ability to pass a Criminal Background Check

• Complete Onboarding with-in timely manner

•  2 Step PPD Test Required

•  Valid Drivers License

•  Registered and Insured Vehicle Available for 1st Shift      

•  Read, write, speak, and understand English as needed for the job
