As an LVT at State Street, you are an essential team member providing high quality care to pet parents and their animals. You will utilize your technical training, communication, and interpersonal skills to work with clients, patients, and staff in a professional, positive manner. Under the directive of the doctors LVTs perform many important tasks during appointments and surgery.

Job Description:
As an LVT at State Street, you are an essential team member providing high quality care to pet parents and their animals. Tasks may include:
- Dentistry with digital radiology
- Digital Radiology
- Venipuncture
- Following Laboratory Protocols for inhouse and external testing
- Nail care and sanitary care maintenance
- Vaccination boosters and protocol
- Providing care and medical treatment for hospitalized patients
- Supporting with surgery and anesthesia
- Housekeeping tasks such as maintaining a clean work environment, equipment care, and inventory monitoring.
- Maintaining a growth mindset
- Self-Starter with the ability to plan, prioritize, and execute tasks
- Time management
- Organization skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- The ability to build positive interpersonal relationships
- Flexibility to adapt with day to day changes and high-pressure situations
- Proficiency with computers- experience with AVImark is a plus
- NYS Veterinary Technician License (required)
