Job Overview:

Lead Customer interface for the advanced sales function. Lead to solve the commercial issues and to enhance customer relationships to ensure sustainable business with the current customer(s) and to make new business with our potential customers.

Job Responsibilities:

Sales/Commercial

  • Lead Advanced Sales/Commercial Development function at the current customers and potential customers. Serve as commercial lead or leverage organization resources to manage the commercial sales process. Lead to solve commercial issues related to pricing/manufacturing/material control and others to ensure sustainable business management.
  • Develop the negotiation strategy to protect the company’s profitability and/or sales.
  • Lead quoting process including Quote Process, Program Start, and Award program.
  • Management of Commercial Issues List and closure of commercial issues within the committed timeframes, including support of cash/account receivable management.

Customer

  • Primary point of contact with related Customer teams.
  • Development of strong customer relationships that deliver value to the company and provide for increased confidence/desire to work with Transys; effectively communicate the benefits, key messages, and technical specifications of Transys.
  • Report regularly “voice of the customer” to COO and Headquarter management teams, including innovation priorities. Additionally, driving sales strategies for commercializing innovations aligned with Transys’ goals.

Process

  • Contact the customer daily basis for deep communication to solve the commercial/technical request to Transys.
  • Work with the outside and internal customer(s) based on Transys’ 5 core values. Customer/Challenge/People/Collaboration/Globalization.

In any case, harmony with teams in customer and Transys teams will be our top priority.

  • Provide/collect market information from customers, competitors, etc. relative to product, pricing/cost, and commercial strategy/direction.
  • Ensure timely updates and accuracy of sales forecasting data.

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • 3+ years of seat sales background. (including cost structure for JIT and sub-components)
  • Strong organization skills with follow-through and a focus on “the details”.
  • A history of success working toward deadlines, multi-tasking, and operating in an environment with shifting priorities.
  • The ability to build partnerships with internal and external customers.
  • Exceptional skills with Excel, PowerPoint and other Microsoft Office.
