Multi-location pediatric dental group is seeking an Patient Account/Call Center Specialist for their Bartlett, TN, office. This position requires a dedicated team player with the ability to multi-task. Duties & requirements include but are not limited to
Required
High school graduation or equivalent
Dental Experience a must
Preferred Experience
Submitting electronic insurance claims
Researching denied claims, submitting corrected claims and filing appeals to payers
Working with TennCare and Commercial Insurance billing guidelines
Generating weekly/monthly reports to monitor claims and reimbursements
Working insurance and patient accounts receivables
Strong communication skills
Strong PC and data entry skills
Detailed oriented and strong organizational skills
Knowledge:
Strong knowledge of dental terminology.
Proficient skills in computer programs.
EagleSoft Software skills
Attention to detail.
Ability to understand and interpret policies, procedures and account notes.
Ability to examine documents, EOBs, pre determinations and account notes for accuracy and completeness.
Ability to conduct tasks and assignments and contributes to team objectives and outcomes as guided.
Key Job Responsibilities:
Reviews patient information for billing, insurance, and reporting purposes.
Discusses and documents inconsistencies with clinicians and insurance companies.
Patient account scheduling and insurance verification.
Assists in educating associates in requirements of documentation for proper reimbursement.
There are no supervisory responsibilities assigned to this job.
Physical Demands/Conditions: The physical activities of this position may include climbing, pushing, standing, hearing, walking, reaching, grasping, kneeling, stooping, and repetitive motion. Must have good balance and coordination. The physical requirements of this position are: light work - exerting up to 25 lbs. of force occasionally and/or up to 25 lbs.
