General Laborer

Overview:

The General Laborer is responsible for working in a safe and effective manner. Perform tasks involving physical labor at store location and moving and hauling debris. May operate hand and power tools of all types. Will sort, clear and clean property. Will require heavy lifting while cleaning up tires, rubble, debris, and other materials. Applicant needs to have a valid driver’s license, and the ability to pass a drug test.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Work well with all co-workers
• Follow direction as to daily tasks and expectations for each specific project
• Practice workplace safety
• Clean and prepare worksite to eliminate possible hazards.
• Ability to Operate equipment safely and efficiently
• Must have strong work ethics

Qualifications & Specialized Training Requirements:

Physical Demands (The nature of physical effort leading to physical fatigue)

• The Laborer has a physically strenuous and demanding job. He/she will be lifting, pulling, shoveling and loading/unloading material up to 75-100 lbs.
• The Laborer will have to work in all weather, and must be prepared for both extreme heat and cold
• The Laborer must ensure that all activities are completed in a safe and efficient way
• High school or equivalent preferred
• Demonstrated ability to perform manual labor : 1 year preferred
• License/Certification: Driver's License required
