RN Assistant Unit Coordinator - NO WEEKENDS

Full Time | Day Shift | Monday - Friday

** Pay rate between $34.50-44.22/hour ** (based on experience)

What will I do as an Assistant Unit Coordinator for The Wesley Community?

The Assistant Unit Coordinator is responsible for assisting the Unit Coordinator in the overall management of the Short-Term and long-term residents in a fast-paced unit with multiple admissions and discharges. In addition, you are required to function 60% of your day as a Medication Nurse and/or Team Leader, as well as perform direct resident care functions in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations that govern our facility and to ensure that the highest degree of quality care is always maintained. You may also at times need to assist the Unit Coordinator by participating in the planning and directing of care, supervising, and organizing staff assignments to ensure that each resident receives care as planned and to act as the Unit Coordinator in his/her absence. Assist with admission and complete the admission process.


Assistant Unit Coordinator Requirements:

  • Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing.
  • Must have current RN license.
  • Must have recent supervisory or charge nurse experience.
  • Geriatric Nursing experience preferred.
  • Experience in rehabilitation or with chronically ill preferred.
