Job Summary:
Trinity Child Development Center is seeking a passionate and dedicated Toddler Teacher to join our team in Homewood, Alabama. As a Toddler Teacher, you will be responsible for creating and implementing developmentally appropriate activities for children ages 1-2 years old. This role will provide support to the toddler classrooms. This is a full-time, 40 hours a week, 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m., individual contributor role with a salary compensation of $13 to $15 per hour, paid biweekly.

Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement daily lesson plans for toddler-aged children that focus on various areas of development, including social, emotional, cognitive, and physical skills.
• Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children to learn and grow.
• Maintain accurate records of each child's progress and communicate with parents about their child's development.
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure a cohesive and high-quality program for all children.
• Adhere to all licensing regulations and maintain a clean and organized classroom.
• Attend staff meetings, trainings, and professional development opportunities as required.

Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in early childhood education or child development is preferred but not required.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience working with toddler-aged children in a childcare setting
• Current CPR and First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain.
• Knowledge of child development theories and best practices for early childhood education.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Must pass all background checks and drug screenings.
