Duties & Responsibilities
- Check station before, during, and after shift for proper set-up and cleanliness.
- Greets members promptly and in a friendly and courteous manner. Address the member by name whenever possible.
- Know and be able to recite specials and/or restaurant promotions to create member awareness.
- Record food and beverage orders from the members accurately, repeating information back to the member to ensure proper order was taken and making suggestions for beverage and food course upsells.
- Records orders into POS system accurately, and in a timely manner.
- Checks completed orders for accuracy prior t serving. Delivers food promptly, serves hot food hot, and cold food cold. Includes appropriate condiments.
- Replenishes beverages as necessary band checks with members for overall satisfaction.
- Promptly presents ember check and obtain appropriate signatures.
- Assists bar, Men’s Grill, dining room, and other areas in running food to ensure timely delivery.
- Performs all assigned side work to include replenishing condiments, restocking side tables, folding napkins, set-up and breakdown of dining and banquet events, equipment and furniture upkeep and transportation, outdoor set-up (including cushion removal, cleanliness, and décor positioning).
- Performs any general cleaning tasks using standard cleaning products as as assigned to adhere to health standards.
- Completes other duties as assigned by supervisor, including cross training.
- Works varying schedules, weekends, holidays, and overtime to reflect the business needs of the Club. Attends mandatory departmental meetings as scheduled.
- Must be able to take a minimum of 10 covers at one time if needed.
- Physical requirement: Must be able to carry and/or lift trays, glassware, and tray stand. 10-20 lbs.
- Must, at all times, be wearing shoes that are both slip and oil resistant.
Qualifications:
- Must have a Food Handler and TABC certification.
- Fine Dining experience preferred.
- No exposed tattoos or piercings.
