Job Description

We're searching for an energetic person with excellent communication and customer service skills to be our next Restaurant Shift Manager. You'll be in charge of running the shift, which will entail greeting and serving clients, and supervising the crew and restaurant operations. As a Shift Manager, you'll be responsible for scheduling employees, delegating work to restaurant employees, handling customer complaints, and ensuring that all food and beverage safety rules are followed. You'll bring strong organizational and team-building abilities, as well as past food-service expertise. If this describes you, please apply immediately!

Compensation:

$42,000 - $47,000 yearly

Responsibilities:
  • Designate various tasks to departments and individual staff, ensuring they are completed promptly and successfully
  • Arrange for the coverage of responsibilities for staff who can’t work their shift
  • Schedule shifts, train and oversee restaurant employees to boost productivity levels and ensure compliance
  • Order supplies and coordinate product deliveries to keep track of inventories and make sure every location is well stocked
  • Instruct the staff on safety procedures, customer service best practices, and restaurant cleanliness requirements
Qualifications:
  • A high school diploma or equivalent GED is required
  • Possess excellent organizational skills, communication skills, and problem-solving skills
  • Must have previous experience in food service and the ability to perform various roles of restaurant crew
  • Previous management or supervisory experience is required
  • Experience with MS Office and other computer skills desired
