Goshen Therapeutic Services, a division of Goshen Valley Foundation, is a community-based social service organization that provides services for families involved with DFCS as well as in the community. We are currently seeking Fully Licensed Mental Health Therapist who can provide services to children and adolescents ages 3-10.

Responsibilities expected for Fully Licensed Mental Health Therapist:

• Upon receiving a referral, make collateral calls to referring agency and review all documentation and notes pertaining to the family or individual’s history, diagnosis, and case plan.
• Provide individual counseling.
• Provide family counseling, training, and coaching as needed.
• Conduct mental health assessments.
• Work in partnership with DFCS case managers to help individuals and families achieve their potential.
• Attend court hearings or case panel hearings to testify as requested by attorneys and DFCS.
• Track units of service and dates of service outlined on the service authorization.
• Document all services in Electronic Health records.
• Attend monthly meetings, as required, for training, to receive updates regarding policies and procedures and staff cases.
• Maintain compliance with required DFCS training.

Fully Licensed Mental Health Therapist will be expected to have:

• Master’s degree in community counseling or related field. (Social Work, Community Mental Health, Marriage and Family Therapy).
• Full license preferred with Georgia’s Secretary of State: LPC, LCSW, LMFT (Associate licensed and license eligible considered for the right candidate.)
• Must be eligible to be credentialed with Medicaid and CMO’s.
• Must demonstrate clinical knowledge and skills to provide assessment and clinical services.
• Must practice by the ethical standards of the professional association and state licensing board.
• Must submit a valid and official transcript showing proof of degree awarded.
• Valid Driver’s License with good driving record and proof of insurance meeting required 100/300/100 liability coverage, and be insurable by GVF's auto insurance carrier.
• Be of good character, and supportive of the programs, policies, and ideals of Goshen Valley Foundation.
• Complete and pass a criminal background check (DHS OIG) and other safety screenings and drug screen.
• Must have access to a computer and telephone to contact clients and document services provided.

Job Type: Contract status, Part-Time up to Full-Time depending on schedule worked.
