We are currently searching for a dedicated 2nd Shift Supervisor to join our team.

Our unique work schedule sets us apart - we operate Monday through Thursday, with four 10-hour workdays and no weekends! This schedule allows our team members to enjoy an extended weekend, fostering a healthier work-life balance.

What is a 2nd Shift Supervisor?

A 2nd shift supervisor is a managerial position responsible for overseeing and coordinating activities during the shift of a business or organization. The 2nd shift supervisor plays a crucial role in managing a team of employees during these hours, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently, quality standards are maintained, and overall productivity is optimized. This role involves providing guidance to employees, resolving issues that may arise, and communicating effectively with both team members and upper management. Additionally, 2nd shift supervisors may be responsible for implementing company policies, enforcing safety protocols, and contributing to the overall success of the organization during non-traditional working hours.

In this role, you will:

Set up and run jobs to produce high quality machined parts

Monitoring employee performance and focus on areas of opportunity to maximize team performance

Ensure communication between work areas and shifts

Use your strong working knowledge of manufacturing systems, quality requirements, industrial engineering, and tool engineering

Follow safe work practices and ensure others do the same

To succeed in this role, you must:

Have 2-3 years' experience as a supervisor, in manufacturing preferred

Have excellent verbal and written communication skills

Desire to maintain a clean and safe 5S work environment

Punctuality and Good Attendance is a must

Problem-solve issues as required
