Job Title: Service and Warranty Advisor
Sedona Staffing Services in Waco, Texas is immediately hiring for a Service and Warranty advisor to work for one of our amazing client companies!
Job Type: Direct Hire
Pay/Salary: $18.00-$23.00/hr to start DOE
Work Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
DUTIES
- Assist Service Manager in performing all functions of the service department including, but not limited to, the following:
- 1.) Answer service customer telephone calls.
- 2.) Open and close work orders.
- 3.) Submit web-based vendor warranty claims.
- 4.) Maintain inspections and compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations.
- 5.) Maintain service vehicle fleet maintenance and repair records.
- 6.) Coordinate service functions with parts, sales, and accounting departments.
REQUIREMENTS
Performance of the above duties requires the following:
1.) High School education minimum – 2 yr. college preferred.
2.) Ability to lift 40 pounds and work safely in hazardous environment.
3.) Must have a clear driving record.
4.) Must have a clear drug/substance abuse record and comply with Company’s zero tolerance drug/substance abuse policy.
5.) Congenial – ability to work effectively with different personality types.
6.) Oriented to providing exceptional customer service.
7.) Ability to concentrate in active environment.
8.) Must give high priority to integrity, accuracy and details.
9.) Good mechanical and electrical/electronic aptitude, ability to follow manufacturer’s warranty procedures.
10.) Some knowledge of engine and/or transmission component terminology.
11.) Must have good verbal and written English communication skills.
12.) Knowledge of Microsoft PC software and good keyboard skills.
