Job Title: Corporate Financial Analyst (FP&A)

Reports to: Chief Financial Officer

Job Summary

The Corporate Financial Analyst will provide accurate and data-based information on the company’s past, future, and current performance and give quantitative analyses of information to help drive company decisions.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Essential Duties:

  • Collects and analyzes financial information for assigned accounts, products or product lines, or business units to track the organization's progress against financial goals.
  • Assists in the development of reporting on long-term goals and strategic objectives for the organization.
  • Identifies, analyzes, and monitors issues that affect profitability, growth, and productivity.
  • Prepares and executes system testing and training.
  • Provides creative alternatives and recommendations to reduce costs and improve financial performance.
  • Assembles and summarizes data to structure sophisticated reports on financial status and risks.
  • Develops financial models, conducts benchmarking, and process analysis.
  • Identifies trends, advises company, and recommends actions to a senior leadership team based on sound analysis.
  • Reconciles transactions by comparing and correcting data.
  • Drives process improvement and policy development initiatives that impact the function.
  • Handles complex strategic financial issues.
  • Performs work with a high degree of latitude.

Required Skills and Abilities

  • Understands record to report business process cycle (transactions, GL, consolidations, internal/external reporting).
  • Understands cash flow, expenditures, revenue, depreciation, and investments to make recommendations for action and/or modifications regarding financial procedures, plans, and controls.
  • Analytical thinking skills, detail oriented, and has ability to meet deadlines.
  • Outstanding presentation, reporting, and communication skills.
  • Proven knowledge of financial forecasting and diagnosis, corporate finance, and information analysis.


Education and Experience:

  • Experience with end-to-end GL & consolidation implementations, interacting with functional leads, gathering business requirements, performing gap analysis, designing solutions, completing system configurations.
  • Proficient in spreadsheets, databases, MS Office. Hands on experience with ERP’s, Microsoft D365 FinOps, SSRS Reporting, Power BI &/or SQL Coding is preferred.
  • 1 year of experience with statistical analysis.
  • BS degree in Finance, Economics, or related field.

Physical Requirements

  • Capability to lift and carry objects up to 15lbs of various weights such as office supplies.
  • Proficiency in using hands, fingers, and arms for tasks such as typing and writing.
  • Sufficient visual acuity to read company documents.
  • Ability to hear and understand verbal communication.
  • Endurance to withstand duties that involve repetitive tasks.
  • Ability to sit for extended periods of time, especially for office-based roles that involve desk work or operating computer systems.
  • Flexibility to bend, stoop, and reach low or high objects.
  • Safety Compliance: Willingness to adhere to safety protocols and wear protective gear as required by the job.

Travel Requirements

This position requires occasional overnight travel and/or occasional travel during the workday.


Driver Qualification

The ability to drive a company owned/leased vehicle or personal vehicle on behalf of the company is preferred.

Inclusion in the company’s driver qualification program is required to drive a company owned/leased vehicle or personal vehicle.

Becoming a qualified driver includes:

  • Agree to the company driving policies that apply to company owned/leased vehicle or personal vehicle as applicable.
  • Possess and maintain a valid driver license and be a minimum of 21 years of age.
  • Maintain an acceptable driving record, as evidenced by completion of a baseline motor vehicle record check and ongoing monitoring.
  • When driving a personal vehicle on behalf of the company, must provide a copy of the declaration page from personal auto insurance that shows the policy dates and minimum coverage amounts ($300,000 bodily injury per accident/$100,000 property damage per accident or if driving less than 5 hours/200 miles a year $50,000 bodily injury per accident/$10,000 property damage per accident or the state minimum, whichever is more). This requirement is initially and then annually thereafter.
