Credit Collections Specialist

Schedule:

Full Time: 8:00am – 5:00pm, Monday – Friday

Position Summary:

The Credit/Collections Specialist provides financial, administrative, and clerical support to the organization’s order to cash activity through the timely completion of customer order reviews for credit worthiness and tax status, collection and reconciliation of invoices, payment applications, and uphold the accuracy of financial reporting.

Position Responsibilities:

  • All aspects of the accounts receivable process
  • Review customer orders and verify credit worthiness and tax status
  • Review return orders for accuracy and timely credit memo release
  • Accurately enter and apply customer payments in Oracle
  • Enter and maintain Customer Accounts
  • Resolve Customer invoice discrepancies
  • Assist with responding to Customer inquiries and requests
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Position Requirements:

  • Combination of experience and training which demonstrate the skills, knowledge, and ability to perform the duties above
  • Computer literate with Oracle System familiarity a plus
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel/Word/Outlook
  • Able to use basic office equipment, phone, fax, copier, etc.
  • Aptitude to prioritize and organize workload to complete assignments in a timely manner
  • Ability to identify, define and form strategies to independently resolve issues
  • Exhibit willingness to work in cooperation with others and the flexibility to adapt to competing demands, changes, delays, or unexpected events
  • Uphold the integrity of the organization by providing professional and trustworthy service to vendors and coworkers

Education/Certifications:

  • Associates Degree preferred
