Property Maintenance Technician - Part-time

Express Employment has an immediate need for a Full Time and  Part Time Maintenance Tech in Chico and Magalia. 

Pay: $16.50/Hour - $18/hr 

Location: Chico, Magalia, CA

Full Time Schedule: M-F 8am - 5pm. 

Part Time Schedule:  3 Days, During Spring: 5 Days 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. or 11:00 am - 7:30 pm

The position starts part time and eventually goes to 5 days in the spring.

Responsibilities:

• General maintenance and cleaning of the facility
• Landscape maintenance: clean up, leaf blowing, weeding, raking, etc
• Janitorial and sanitation of the clubhouse and public areas including cleaning of the bathrooms, vacuuming the offices
• Maintenance and clean up of the pool
• Setup tables and chairs for events and board meetings
• Setup the Bar area for Friday and Saturday events
• Open and Close facility responsibilities
• Provide information and support to the management team
• Install new fixtures or replace damaged or malfunctioning systems within the building or buildings on the property
• Fix lighting and plumbing
• Perform routine and scheduled maintenance across multiple properties
• Perform repairs, installations of fixtures and appliances, and replacement of damaged systems
• Diagnose and repair problems with building heat, electricity, and water system 

Requirements:

• Experience using landscaping equipment
• Experience with cleaning and sanitation
• 1-2 years of experience preferred
• Be able to lift up to 50 lbs
• Strong time management skills, while maintaining attention to detail, and able to follow directions
• Must be able to work independently to fulfill work orders
• Must work well along side with the management team and coworkers
