We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Sr Inbound Logistics Coordinator to join our team, specializing in Mexico to U.S. logistics. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the seamless movement of goods, ensuring compliance with regulations, optimizing supply chain efficiency, and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and transportation partners.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the end-to-end logistics process for inbound shipments from Mexico to the U.S.
  • Manage inbound shipments from U.S. domestic suppliers to our U.S distribution centers
  • Support Prometheans drayage programs from various U.S. ports to our U.S distribution centers
  • Collaborate with suppliers, carriers, and internal teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods in a Just-In-Time environment
  • Ensure compliance with customs regulations and documentation requirements for cross-border shipments
  • Work closely with customs brokers to facilitate smooth clearance processes
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, fostering effective communication and collaboration
  • Address and resolve any issues related to supplier performance or logistics challenges
  • Evaluate transportation options and carriers to optimize cost-effective and efficient inbound logistics
  • Generate reports to track key performance indicators and identify areas for improvement
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of shipments, customs documentation, and compliance-related information
  • Stay informed about changes in regulations and industry best practices
  • Monthly travel to Crane Worldwide Logistics facility in Commerce, CA
  • Quarterly travel to Tijuana

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
  • 3+ years experience in inbound logistics, with a focus on Mexico to U.S. shipments
  • Background in the full truckload and intermodal markets
  • Strong knowledge of customs regulations, trade compliance, and cross-border logistics
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make sound decisions under pressure
Base Range: $60,000 - $78,500 + Bonus Eligible
